I laughed and I cried
So deeply bereaved by your absence
Resentment gripped my heart and dared me to whisper, “please let go”
Revenge sought me out
I wanted you to feel me, my whole being
I wanted you to feel my rage and agony
My tears wasted on you and my eyes rubbed red
There isn’t a part of me that wishes we knew each other
There isn’t a bone in my body that shares love for you.
I want the little pieces of you gone from my life but then again there isn’t much
I now know where your loyalty lies
