Christmas is a very festive time full of joy and happiness. Every year my family listens to Christmas music while driving, putting up the tree, and opening presents. Christmas music brings the spirit to the season and always gets me excited for Christmas. These are my top ten best Christmas songs. 

#1 Happy Xmas (War Is Over) by John Lennon and Yoko Ono. This song is very good and a classic because my sister plays this every Christmas so that’s why it is #1 for me. 

#2 Wonderful Christmastime by Paul McCartney, This is a very upbeat and fun Christmas song. It’s a fun song to play in the car while it’s snowing. 

#3 It’s Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas by Micheal Buble. This is the perfect song for driving around admiring peoples christmas lights and decor and seeing the snow on the trees. 

#4 Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas by Frank Sinatra. This song is very relaxing and makes you wanna sit by the fire and admire your Christmas tree. Speaking of Christmas trees… 

#5 Christmas Tree Farm by Taylor Swift. This song is the best of both worlds for anyone who loves Christmas and Taylor Swift. Taylor also covered White Christmas, Silent Night, Santa Baby, and Last Christmas. 

Which leads me to #6 Last Christmas by Wham! This song tells a very compelling story that entails George giving his then girlfriend a brooch while they were dating, and it’s now being worn by Andrew, his ex’s new boyfriend. It’s a story of rejection and is a classic. 

#7 All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carrey, this is one of the most popular Christmas songs. To me, it’s slightly overplayed but it’s still a really good song. 

#8 is an instrumental song called Christmas Time Is Here by Vince Guaraldi Trio. This song is great to listen to when it’s cold outside and you’re wrapped up in a blanket on the couch. 

#9 Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee. This is a very fun and festive song that’s good to play at Christmas parties. 

#10 is Santa Claus Is Coming To Town by The Jackson 5. This song always puts me in the Christmas spirit and is very upbeat.
