By the time April comes around, Northeast Ohio is ready for spring. Not only are we ready, but Spring is overdue. March is a cold disappointment. After four long months of winter cold, Spring is looked forward to by all of the people ready to put their winter coats away for a while. The prospect of green grass and colorful flowers, sunny blue skies, shorts, and tee shirts seems so close.
And then it snows.
Suddenly all of our expectations are let down. It feels as if we were at the end of the tunnel, and suddenly catapulted back. The world sighs. It is time for Spring.
But then it melts.
And the seasons begin to change.
