With Valentine’s Day approaching fast, many of us are probably planning our weekends. Some people may spend the holiday with their significant other, or some people might spend the weekend with their friends. No matter who you spend it with, a fun themed movie is always a good idea. Here are some of the top Valentine’s day movie picks and some summaries to help you pick! Hopefully these romcom picks help you formulate the most aesthetic Valentines weekend!

#1 The Notebook 

There’s no doubt that the notebook is one of the most iconic romance movies. With its loveable characters and forbidden love storyline, it is a perfect pick for a Valentine’s Day watch. The story is set in the 1940’s and follows a mill worker and rich girl, Allie, as they navigate their life-long romance. This movie is heartfelt, heartwarming, and is the perfectprefect romance movie for your weekend. 

#2 10 things I hate about you 

10 things I hate about you is fun, young, and certainly interesting. Personally, this is one of my favorite movies and is absolutely fitting for Valentine’s day. The movie follows Kat Stratford and Patrick Verona as they develop an enemies to lovers trope. This movie is moving and comedic and will definitely put you in the Valentines day spirit. 

#3 Valentines Day 

What could be a better movie for valentines day than one literally titled, “Valentines Day”!

This movie has stacked cats containing celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Jennifer Garner, Julia Roberts, Taylor Lautner, Bradley Cooper, and Anne Hathaway. The movie follows numerous couples and families as they enjoy or despise their Valentines day experience. This story is funny, heartwarming, and very much all about Valentine’s day!

#4 To all the Boys I’ve Loved Before 

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before has become one of everyone’s favorite teenage romcoms. The movie follows Lara Jean and Peter as they form a fake romance in their school. Can you guess what happens? This story has so many funny and loveable characters as well as a unique storyline. The movie is perfect for any movie night, but especially for Valentine’s Day. And, if you love it, there are two more sequels!
