To be completely honest, I am not a huge fan of Starbucks’s pumpkin spice latte. I simply don’t understand the hype. I don’t find it disgusting by any means, but I certainly wouldn’t go out of my way to order a PSL instead of my usual coffee older (iced americano with coconut milk). When I first heard about Starbucks’s pumpkin cream cold brew, I was a bit skeptical. I just assumed it would taste like an iced PSL – no thanks, I’m good. But after reading good reviews about it on Twitter and hearing my friends rave about their new favorite drink, I thought I would give it a try. Surprisingly, I really liked it. I usually order a grande at Starbucks, sometimes a venti if I was up late studying, but I decided to get a tall because it was a cold brew and I knew that it had a ton of caffeine. After taking my first sip, the first thing that came across my mind was that the pumpkin cream foam on top tastes exactly like pumpkin pie. It was really smooth and creamy. If you are not a hard-core coffee drinker and don’t know how much caffeine your body can tolerate, I would definitely recommend getting a tall because of the relatively high caffeine content. I am a huge critic when it comes to my coffee order, but I would definitely give the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew a five out of five!
