Since 1923, Disney has been a profitable company bringing its magic across the globe. Today, Disney is constantly releasing new movies and products. And because Disney is such a big company and constantly evolving, it can be hard to keep up with everything going on. In this article, I will break down all the big events happening in the magical world of Disney.

Movies have always been a huge part of the Disney company. Right now there are five new Disney movies awaiting release, and trailers are out now. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is the perfect movie for the Halloween season coming out on October 18. Angelina Jolie (Maleficent) is sure to deliver a bone-chilling experience to all viewers. And if you’re a fan of Disney sequels, Frozen 2 is coming out in 49 days, on November 22. Other movies include Mulan, Onward, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. If you like to keep up with Disney Cruise Line news, you know that Disney’s new ship the Disney Wish has just been released! This magical new ship will set sail in 2022. And although fans have to wait for another three years, Disney has already given us a few fun facts about the Disney Wish. The Wish is the fifth cruise ship in the fleet, following the Wonder, Magic, Dream, and Fantasy. The Wish will be able to accommodate a maximum amount of 4,00 passengers! This means that this ship will be as large as the Disney Dream and Fantasy. If you want to learn more about the Disney Wish, there are lots of fun facts online. 

Finally, Disney has many interesting and little known facts that all fans should know. For example, did you know that Walt Disney’s first film was ‘Alice’s Wonderland’? How about that Walt Disney’s original monicker was d’Isigny to show off his French roots? Other fun facts: The character Wall-E is named after Walter Elias Disney. The name of the Disney sorcerer ‘Yen Sid’ may ring a bell if spelled backward. And finally, Main Street in Disneyland is modeled after the year 1910, while Tomorrowland is modeled after the year 1986, both of those being Halley’s Comet years.
