And for a while there, I did really believe that Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana were two different people. (Don’t lie, you probably did too.)
Years later, before Miley went on her crazy person bender, she starred in a Nicholas Sparks’ movie, the Last Song, and there is where Miley and Liam met. Not long after the movie was released, fans were in love with Miley and Liam, because just like any other Nicholas Sparks’ movie, they resembled the epitome of “true love”. When fans heard that they were dating in real life, it was almost too good to be true, which made their breakup that much more heart breaking.

Now although their relationship was not the center of our world like it was when we were little, hearing of childhood stars getting back together provides a certain feeling of nostalgia. From Justin and Selena to Demi and Joe, the reunion of celebrity couples was not something that seemed to last forever. However, when Liam’s and Miley’s wedding photos were released, we were inclined to think that this one might just make it. However, we were wrong.

According to every tabloid and social media account that god first wind of the story, Liam was not even made aware of their breakup until Miley had posted about it. Now personally, seeing my childhood view of “true love” breakup over social media, was kind of hard reality check, and for all those Miley and Liam fans, it was heartbreaking. Now, both Miley’s and Liam’s teams are working to blame the other for the ending of their marriage.
