Travel Hacks: Spain Global Scholars Trip

- Take a small suitcase and a carryon
Although you might want to pack a lot of clothes it isn’t necessary and it can be a pain to try and carry around a giant suitcase through the airports, train stations, and cities. Try to fit your clothes and a small purse in your suitcase and everything else in your carry-on, it makes it so much easier to go from place to place. Also take a small backpack as your personal item and put all of the stuff that you need on the plane in it.
- Roll your clothes
With a small suitcase it can be really hard to fit all of your clothes, but if you take the time to only pack light clothing and roll it all you can fit a lot more than you would expect
- Invest in packing cubes
These can be your best friend while traveling. With packing cubes, you can make sure your clothes are organized and separated so it makes it easier to find them in the morning.
- Take Shampoo and conditioner bars instead of big bottles
These are so nice to have because they don’t take up a lot of room and they are super easy to use during the trip and dispose of at the end.
- Take a camping water bag for your water bottle
These can be easily clipped onto your purse and it barely takes up any room in your suitcase. You can also throw it away at the end of the trip
Take separate small bars of soap for each place you’re going, it is so much easier to throw out the soap before you leave the hotel. I makes it so that you don’t have to worry about letting the soap dry before packing it.
