I’ve always wondered if temporal voyage, or time travel, was possible.

In my opinion, I think that it is possible, but I’m not sure if someone could actually travel back in time. Some scientists say that it is possible, but to return back to the present time, someone would have to travel faster than the speed of light, which is not possible. Others argue that it could be possible.

Whether it is possible or not, I still really like the concept of time travel. I especially like reading stories or watching movies about time traveling. I don’t just find the movies where the characters travel far back into the past or into the future exciting, I also like movies where the characters go back one day in time and have to fix something, for example. A really good movie about time travel that I recommend is The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. The director’s take on time travel is interesting, and the ending is mindblowing. The main character is just an average girl who realizes one day that she can go back in time by sort of leaping. She can’t go into the future, but to me, her newly found “power” is very useful. For example, one day she was going to be late for school and failed a bunch of her tests. After finding out about time travel, she went back to that morning, woke up at 5:00, had a nice breakfast, then arrived to school on time and did really well on her tests. In my opinion, this is a pretty great power.

It would be great to be able to sleep in for a few more hours and not be late for school. The main character also is able to retake tests so she can excel in school, and get out of embarrassing situations. Using this power, she can even prevent some terrible situations. But, there is always a catch. The high school student soon realizes the consequences of time travel.

After researching a bit about what scientists think of time travel and watching this movie, I recognize that time traveling, while extremely appealing, is really dangerous. It is somewhat frightening to go into the ominous world of temporal expedition. For now, this is my take on time travel, but I think it would be really interesting to go more into depth with this topic and hear other opinions of different people.
