I always see these really cool and super simple three ingredient recipes on Buzzfeed and wonder how they taste. I wanted to put some of their recipes to the test. In this article, I will be trying to make three ingredient Nutella brownies. My sister will be the judge.
- 1 ¼ cups of Nutella
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup of flour
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl.
- Pour batter into a greased 9 x 9 or 8 x 8 inch baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean. (Be careful to not overbake, or else they will be dry.)
- Let them cool, and enjoy!
So making these brownies was pretty easy. I didn’t really realize how much Nutella was actually going to be used though (it was a lot)! It couldn’t have been any easier to make, and to my surprise they came out looking super similar to the picture. When I gave them to the judge, Alise, she didn’t seem all that impressed. She said they tasted like, “condensed Nutella,” but that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. She doesn’t like regular brownies that much, and she did say she liked these brownies better than regular brownies because they were very moist, and obviously because she likes Nutella. She also said, “They sort of taste just like Nutella, but I would eat them again.” She concluded that overall these brownies were good, and she gave them a strong 3.5 out of 5 stars!
