While first semester went by in the blink of an eye, I have a feeling that the same will be happening for second semester, as well. Here are some tips to stay organized throughout the second half of the 2018-2019 school year.

  1. Clean out your backpack: We all have those loose papers lying around in the bottom of our bags. That homework sheet you were looking for or that quiz you forgot about are probably still lying under a pile of your other notebooks just begging to be cleaned. All you have to do is take everything out of your bag and only put the necessities back in to keep your bag light and organized.
  2. Keep a spare computer charger: For days when you realize that you still have three classes left in a day but only 12% left on your laptop.
  3. Take out anything from first semester: Old notebooks and papers add up in weight and just extra stuff you donโ€™t have to be carrying around. Your back will thank you when you take out all the papers and notes you wonโ€™t be needing.
  4. Use a planner: you donโ€™t want to go into the second semester missing homework assignments because you forgot to write them down.

Have a designated study space (at school or your house or anywhere): find a quiet space, bring food, your stuff, and study.
