Over the past few months, many new movies have come out. Here are the five most talked about and what you should know about each.

 

Bohemian Rhapsody – This movie follows Queen, more specifically the band’s lead singer, Freddie Mercury. It gives insights on Queen’s greatest accomplishments and hardest times. Bohemian Rhapsody came out November 2, 2018. Since then 98% of Google users liked the movie, and many people I personally know have loved it.

 

Halloween  – This Halloween movie is a remake of the traditional Halloween from 1978. Halloween is the story of an escaped prisoner on Halloween night. I went to see this in the theater and it was one of the best horror movies I have ever seen, and I’m not alone. Ninety percent of Google users liked this movie,  which was released on October 19, 2018.

 

A Star Is Born – This movie is about one struggling musician and one seasoned musician who fall in love. The relationship has its ups and downs as the musicians are dealing with personal problems and being in the spotlight. While this has a great plot, it is also known for its amazing soundtrack. 95% of Google users liked this movie since its release date, October 5, 2018.

 

The Hate You Give – Based on the extremely successful book by Angie Thomas, The You Give follows a teen girl’s life after she witnesses a police officer shoot her childhood best friend. This movie gives you insight to the two very different worlds she is a part of, and what she will do with her voice. Since October 5, 2018, when it came out, 95% of Google users liked this movie.

 

The Grinch – Although this is a very common and traditional a Christmas movie, it has been redone with a new plot. It is still about the Grinch, his nasty attitude, and stealing Christmas, but there are plenty of changes to keep you interested. It was released November 9, 2018, and since then 88% of Google users liked this movie.
