From Hot Dogs to Hummus

When travelling, finding a good restaurant can be a challenge. After exploring all these cities I have found that these are some of the best restaurants to go to. Here are my top three.
- The Hummus Bistro D&A: located on Westerstraat in Amsterdam, The Hummus Bistro D&A is a Middle Eastern restaurant with a wide range of dishes. And although it is very small, the food is amazing. The restaurant is hidden during the day, but lively and easy to spot at night. I would recommend getting the item on the menu called “this and that”, it is a little of everything on the menu.
- Baejarins Bestu: A small but very famous hot dog stand located in Reykjavik, Iceland. “Baejarins Bestu” means “the town’s best,” which they are, serving lamb hot dogs with all the normal condiments this is the perfect place to go if you’re looking for an easy lunch. I would recommend getting a hot dog with “everything”, which entails onions, fried onions, mustard, ketchup, and a special Icelandic sauce. A fun fact about the hot dog stand is that Bill Clinton went to it and loved it!
- Albergo: If you are going to the small town of Panicale in Umbria Italy, you must go to Albergo Ristorante Masolino Sas. It is an amazing Italian restaurant with all the classics, and owners who treat you like family! Albergo makes their own pasta every day and uses only home-grown ingredients. While sitting in there you get the feeling that you’ve travelled back in time. I would recommend getting the Carbonara, it is flavorful and very filling.
