In English, we did an exercise when we had to each pick a word, and in the order they were picked, had to write them into a poem. For my class, our words were petal, blouse, glassy, squishy, light, transcending, and velvet.

She picked a petal a day

Wearing a white, pure blouse

Standing in a lush, green field

Hoping he would love her

She picked a flower a day

Through the illuminating winter

When the glassy pond turned to ice

Hoping he would love her

She picked a petal a day

Walking on squishy grass

As the light reflected in dew

Hoping he would love her

Transcending the bounds of summer

She has made a petal bouquet, like velvet

Fit for a queen and king

She picks them one by one

One by one

One by one

Until

He loves her
