Sally Senior Talks about College

By: Sally Senior

Dear Sally Senior,

Are you scared for college? Why do teachers give you homework if you already doing a lot of college work?

Sue Sophomore

Dear Sue Sophmore,

I’m not going to lie, thinking about leaving home and my parents next year is nerve racking, but I think as every day goes by and you do things more and more on your own it gets easier to internalize leaving. No matter what grade you are in, spend time with your family whenever you can because even if you’re 9 months away from leaving home or 4 years away, you won’t regret it. As for the work load, most teachers acknowledge you have a lot of college work and assign homework accordingly. Teachers will be really flexible about homework and tests if you talk to them about it. Don’t ever be afraid to email a teacher, they will be happy to work with you to figure out a schedule that works with you so you have the time to do the work. I hope this helped you all get a better look into senior year.

Much Love,

Sally Senior
