WHAT INTERESTS YOU ABOUT BUSINESS?

MG: I think it is really cool that we can have/make something that other people want. I also love the interaction between the business and the customers!

CL: Getting to connect with consumers through various marketing techniques.

SF: Business has always intrigued me. I love the fact that I have an opportunity to be a leader in something that the entire school is apart of.

AP: I really like applying math and logic to real world experiences. For example determining the cost of goods and from there deciding the selling point

WHY DID YOU WANT YOUR SPECIFIC JOB?

MG: I wanted this job because I love the background aspects of a store, like scheduling and interactions with the employees. Although it can be difficult to have awkward conversations, I’m glad that I am a main part to making the customer experience as great as it can be!

CL:  I felt like the job description of COO perfectly fit with what I’m good at, such as planning, coordinating and designing things.

SF:  I think that it is extremely good real world experience. Business is something that I want to go into as a career and this is the perfect job to start that. Along with that, this job gives me the opportunity to have an impact within the HB community.

AP: I thought that it was really cool that it was entirely student run, and I couldn’t pass up the incredible opportunity to get real world experience in both business and leadership.

MF:It is something that I want to pursue when I am older, so getting a jump start in high school was appealing to me.

SF: To make lots of money!! Also I hope that the HathCaff will be able to have everything that the school wants from it.

AP: My goal for the HathCaff next year is transitioning  it from a start-up to a running business. The first year of operation presented many obstacles, and my goal is to have all of the kinks worked out for next year.
