Dear Seniors

Dear Class of 2016,

Let me start this off by saying: WE MADE IT PAST NOVEMBER FIRST AND FIFTEENTH OMG OMG ARE YOU ALL NOT AS EXCITED AS I AM WE JUMPED THE FIRST HURDLE HURAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Okay. So. Wow. December 15, and all other ED/EA decision releases are quickly approaching, and I feel as though I’m about to be hit by a massive bus. However, even though this year has definitely been a huge challenge, I can’t help but notice that this year is going by fast. Really fast. Much faster than I thought it would, and much faster than I want it to. So, I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to all of you incredible girls. I’m an only child by birth, but I can now safely say that I have far more sisters than I can count, a vast majority of them belonging to the class of 2016. I can’t thank you guys enough for making HB a family for me, and for supporting me through this stressful senior year. This year has been really tough, but I can’t help but feel grateful—we’ve all bonded because of this unique stress inflicted on first semester seniors. We’ve all celebrated, cried and laughed together, and I can’t believe that I just applied to leave a place that has such a strong sense of community. I’m going to miss you all terribly, and I honestly don’t know how I’m going to survive in a place that not only has disgusting boys (ugh.), but none of my sisters as well. During this tough time, just please please remember that we will all be fine and that everything will end up working itself out. You are all smart, beautiful and accomplished girls, and no random college acceptance or denial could ever change that. If you get denied (though it may sting a little bit), just remember that any college would be damn lucky to have any one of you, and ultimately it was their loss. I know that sounds cliché, but IT’S SO TRUE IT’S NOT EVEN FUNNY. BELIEVE ME. WE ARE AMAZING. WE GOT THIS!!! Let’s try and enjoy what little time we have left together, and not waste our time mourning the things that weren’t meant to be. I love you all, and can’t thank you enough for the amazing time at HB you’ve given me. And just think…WE’RE ALMOST SECOND SEMESTER SENIORS WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! LET THE PARTY BEGIN!!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!
