Midterms got you stressed out?


Get psyched guys! Midterms are coming up! Now, you’re probably wondering why we’re so excited, right? We are in school for two hours each day for about a week to take a test on material we have been working on since August. It doesn’t sound that bad when you put it that way, right?. There is no need to worry and I believe in every single one of you, but just in case you don’t believe me, here is a list of things to do when you need a break from studying to distress:

  1. EAT… Moderately


      Food loves you and you love it.

  1. Hot shower


Just imagine the warm water releasing you from your troubles with every drop.

  1. Clean


Not only will it take your mind off studying, but also, it’s productive.

  1. Exercise


Just like cleaning, sweating it out in the gym releases some angst and anxiety and you get fit. So, win-win.

  1. Knit


Knitting is an amazing pass time with a creative outcome. When I’m sick or stressed, I knit and watch reruns episodes of Gossip Girl. There is no problem that Chuck Bass can’t fix. And doesn’t that scarf give you inspirations.

  1. Sleep


Need I say more? P.S. you can knit a blanket to sleep with.

  1. Go outside and get some sun



   “Here comes the sun, do do do do, Here comes the sun and I say, It’s all right”- The Beatles. Listen to them. They are right.

  1. Got play with your pet


    They love you unconditionally and don’t know what a midterm is. If you don’t own a pet, replace with your favorite stuffed animal.

  1. We got this. There is life after December. Trust me. It’s not as bad as you think it will be.
