Not only does the hit TV show Grey’s Anatomy tug at your heartstrings, have a cast full of endearing and relatable strong female roles (Christina Yang and the one and only Meredith Grey), and man-candy (Dr. Shepherd, Dr. Sloane, Dr. Avery, or Dr. Karev anyone?) but it also has 196 episodes on Netlix, and killer music. Over the seasons, the show has featured 1,217 songs, several of which by at-the-time breakout-artists including Taylor Swift (“White Horse”), Ed Sheeran (“Kiss Me), Macklemore and Ryan Lewis (“Make the Money”), Lorde (“Team” and “Bravado”), and Kendrick Lamar (“Sing about Me, I’m Dying of Thirst”). Grey’s also plays essentials to every hipster’s playlist like Bon Iver’s “Skinny Love”. If one thing is certain, it is that I have bought more songs after watching episodes of Grey’s Anatomy than I have watching any other TV show.

My Top 10 Grey’s Songs:

1. Kiss Me – Ed Sheeran

2. Skinny Love – Bon Iver

3. How to Save A Life – The Fray

4. Swans – Unkle Bob

5. Lullaby – Dixie Chicks

6. Keep Breathing – Ingrid Michaelson

7. Somewhere Only We Know – Keane

8. 2am (Breathe) – Anna Nalik

9. Chasing Cars – Snow Patrol

10. Falling Awake – Gary Jules
